April 1998 |
Jeff Davis - First Male player to score a perfect game in the history of the Bowling European Corporative. Jeff bowled his 300 game in the semi-finals of the 28th B.E.C. Championships which were held at the Tali Bowling Centre in Helsinki, Finland. Jeff, also the Great Britain Representative, hosted the 27th Championships where Rieja Lunden bowled the first 300 of the Championships, therefore repaying the complement to Finland. This was Jeff's first ever 300 game and he was presented with a 300 Trophy, a Bowling 300 Pin, and flag of Tali Bowl. He was also presented with an authentic Basque Berret by a French ( Basque ) player - a great honour. The berret had the word "Champion" in Basque. |
